Return to yourself and embrace your own unique path
Finding and staying true to your life’s path has always been a profound human question. There is no pre-set trail, no definitive answer, and only you can discover how
to navigate it. It begins with self-discovery. Who am I? Am I walking my own path, or am I following someone else’s?
Rianne van de Griendt and Rokus Harder are trained and passionate coaches, well-equipped to assist you with your life questions. They approach this with heartfelt care and respect, eager to guide you through this transformative retreat. So, step out of your daily routine and take the time to reconnect with yourself. Where am I? What do I want? What do I need? Our program includes a variety of personal and group activities designed to encourage self-discovery,  addressing the questions currently in your life. Hiking, creativity, and personal reflection are the core of our program. And as group there are ample opportunities to reflect with each other. On Sunday, we will close by symbolizing your wish and visualizing your next steps.

Practical information
For this retreat we meet in Pilgrim hostel Kafarnaüm in Vessem. Reception and room allocations starts at 4:00 PM. The program starts at 5:00 PM and closes on Sunday around 3 – 4:00 PM. We like to keep the group small (6 – 8 participants) to enable enough time and space for each other. The cost of this weekend is 360 euros per person, includes meals, coffee, tea and overnight stays in a single or double room (exclusive alcoholic beverages).

Let's introduce ourselves!

Rianne van de Griendt – Life & Soul Coach
I’m working parttime at Philips as Training & Competence Lead and Peer Coach. In this corporate business world I missed spirituality and the connection with people on a deeper level, this is what I find in my own practice. I’m educated as New Age Therapist and Spiritual Master of Angelology, which inspired me to start my New Age practice ‘Nieuwetijdspraktijk Rianne’ in 2022. My passion is to guide people to the next step on their life path, to activate their self-healing capacity and to pass on wisdom of life. www.nieuwetijdspraktijk-rianne.nl

Rokus Harder – Life and Career Coach
In 2019 I decided to focus on personal development, and in 2023 I’ve started my own practice “Compassion” in which I focus on coaching and events, see www.rokusharder.nl for more information. I coach both within Philips and within my own practice. Over the last 3 years I had the pleasure to guide many people with questions around their purpose and goals in life. I love organizing retreats and other events (related to personal development or coaching). Next to that I  work four days a week at Philips as Global Service Innovation Lead for MRI. My passion at work is team/people development and Serviceability Innovation. Rokus Harder 🌱 | LinkedIn

The program

At a retreat, the primary focus is on exploring your personal questions and discovering the answers through reflection. However, it is also very much a group experience. You will build connections with others through dialogue and silent understanding. You inspire and motivate each other, as everyone shares the common goal of “escaping the hectic routine and constant flood of information.” This is why our program includes a mix of individual and group activities, providing both opportunities for quiet self-reflection and shared experiences.

The location of the retreat significantly enhances the experience. The pilgrim-inn boasts a unique atmosphere and energy that inspires, influences, and helps us step outside our everyday world. It features a stunning garden adorned with art, a dedicated creative studio space, and a quaint chapel.

To give you a sneak peek in the program:

  • Friday is about getting to know each other and understanding your question. We take the time to get landed and move from the busy week schedule into stillness. We do this by exploring ourselves and visualizing this in a drawing which we share in smaller groups. This is basically our check-in and getting to know each other as group.
  • On Saturday we start the day together with sharing where we stand. Did the night and early morning provide any new insights?  Then it is time to go outside as the main activity on Saturday is hiking through the beautiful fields and forest around our the pilgrim-inn. During the hike we pay attention to mindfulness, inspirational stories and focus on our intuition to prepare for a creative evening. At the end of the afternoon there is ample time for further personal reflection, conversations or a Reiki treatment from Rianne. In the evening, we will engage in a creative workshop to delve deeper into our life questions.
  • Sunday we will start together with some exercises to check into our body. Where do we stand right now? Has anything changed? What are our needs and what do we need to let go of? We conclude by looking ahead in formulating and symbolizing our dream and use the labyrinth to visualize how to get there.
